FEES

Please be advised that from the Summer Term (after the Easter Holidays) fees will be the same for all students. The Isleworth discount has now concluded and will no longer be applied. Thank you to all those who came over to Teddington from Isleworth for your continued support, it is still very much appreciated.

30 MINS: £6.50, 45 MINS: £7.25, 1 HR: £8.00, 1HR & 15 MINS: £8.25

NEW TIMETABLE AND CLASS CHANGES

Please read carefully as there are quite a few changes.

Starting from the Summer Term TDC will follow a new Timetable, this will be on the website and on display at the studio.

I have tried to make it so my students who come 4+ days a week will not have to come to the studio so many days. I have also dedicated Wednesday evenings to Street Dance classes as Miss Arzu will be teaching all of these classes. We are able to offer Mini, Junior and Senior classes again.

SATURDAYS:  My Acro classes will also now be on a Saturday and as before Show Term I am able to offer Mini/ Beginner Acro again. TINY TOTS, PRE-PRIMARY OR PRIMARY PARENTS- If your child is aged 3+ and interested in trying Acro they are more than welcome to trial our beginner class. Saturdays at 10:30-11:00, please let me know if you would like me to add your child to our trial list. 🙂 Feel free to spread the word to family and friends about this new class for our little TDC dancers.

Pre-Primary Ballet, Tap & Jazz will now be an hour rather than an hour and 15 minutes. I feel we are able to still do everything in an hour and it’s not too much for the girls.

Primary Ballet and Tap will now be a combined lesson lasting an hour but covering both genres, rather than 2 separate classes.

Extra Ballet classes have also been separated as before Show Term.

TUESDAYS: MOVED FROM MONDAYS & THURSDAYS TO TUESDAYS: Grade 3 and Grade 4 Tap will now be combined as well as Grade 2 and Grade 4 Ballet with a separate Pre-Pointe class for the Grade 4’s

THURSDAYS: MOVED FROM MONDAY TO THURSDAY: Grade 5 Ballet (Senior Ballet) and Pointe will now be on Thursdays 

Please drop me a message if your child would like to trial any classes (Junior Jazz, Street Dance and Acro are very popular).

I am aware these changes may not suit all but I do hope your children will still be able to continue especially if their class day has changed. Please get in contact privately if these changes affect you and we will update your invoice accordingly. Thank you.

SUMMER TERM 2025 TIMETABLE

TDC Uniform

This is a little reminder that all students should be wearing the bespoke black TDC uniform. If you are unsure of how to order the black TDC uniform please speak to myself or Miss Harriet. The Black TDC Iris Leotard is for all students from Tiny Tots to our Seniors, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Conditioning and Acro inclusive. Street Dance uniform includes the compulsory TDC T-shirt and TDC Zoodie.

The ordering information for each class is in the Uniform section which includes the links to the online stores.

The Black TDC Iris Leotard can be purchased from squaddancewear.com. You will have to register for an account to access the TDC page and don’t worry this page isn’t just for the Elite Team uniform, any student can purchase the TDC T-shirt, Zoodie, Bag, Leggings or Shorts (only the Crop Tops, Pants and Jacket is exclusive to the Elite Teams). Squad Dancerwear have recently updated their website so if you already have an account you may need to reset your password, for any new orders/ customers you will need to create an account to see TDC items.

All other uniform for Ballet and Tap classes are to be purchased from tdo.mydancestore.co.uk. Please refer to the menu drop down on the left for your child’s class.

Sadly my students particularly in the Autumn Term started to look a bit messy with their hair and uniform in class (such a shame as over the last few terms I was so impressed with everyone and this made such a difference with progress in class- believe it or not it really does make a difference). All classes except for Street Dance hair should be in a low classical bun and loose hairs pulled back off the face, Street Dance hair should be in a high pony tail with loose hair pulled back away from the face. Correct uniform should also be worn in particular when we have guest teachers. Going forward I will be monitoring each class. Well done to the Lower School who have been amazing with their presentation, FAB!!

TDC Elite Teams

Best of luck to our Elite Teams who will next be competing in May. They have been working so hard towards ‘Dance Inspirations’ at Leatherhead Theatre, results and pictures to follow. We will be showcasing a few new routines for the first time and have never competed at this event before so it’s all very exciting.

I am so proud of the girl’s commitments and thank you to all the dancers’ parents!

For the first time TDC will be holding Elite Auditions at the end of the Summer Term. This decision hasn’t been made lightly and isn’t meant to worry the girls but seeing the high standard at competitions this is the best way to ensure our students are confident with their skills. Dancers aged 8+ will audition to gain a place on the team. There will also be a few non-competing places offered for dancers that need a little more time to achieve the skills required. This will enable them to still train with the team and get the hours in to help.

If you have been interested in the Elite Programme for your child please get in contact. A requirement for the Elite Programme is that Ballet classes are taken. The update timetable will be on the website in the next few weeks and see above.

Communication at TDC

It is very important we have a correct contact number for you as WhatsApp is currently our preferred choice of communication especially for urgent messages and group messages. We have definitely had more success in reaching parents using this direct messaging service. If you haven’t been receiving any kind of communication from TDC please speak to myself or Harriet.

If we have to suddenly cancel classes for any reason, ie. weather, natural events, illness etc you will receive direct communication from us or always check the website.

The Dance Company has been named BEST DANCE STUDIO in Teddington 2024 by DistinguishedTeaching.co.uk.

Thank you all for your continued support in helping to keep TDC going from strength to strength. I have so many loyal and supportive families and have welcomed so many more friends to the TDC family this term already.

Look for this exciting award on the main page of our website……should i make bigger??
